Northern Arizona University (NAU) is located in Flagstaff, Arizona (two hours from Phoenix) in America's Southwest region. Founded in 1899 and surrounded by the majestic San Francisco mountains and beautiful pine trees, students at NAU enjoy winter, spring summer & fall seasons! NAU is distinguished for its quality of teaching and welcomes over 1,000 international students from over 80 countries. There are more than 22,000 students on campus. As a R2 research university, NAU not only focuses on scientific research, but also focuses on students and students’ outcomes. In NAU, all courses are taught by full-time faculty members.
