The University of Melbourne (#14) and Monash University (#42) are the two Victorian universities in the Top 50. The 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) also ranks six Victorian universities in the Top 400, with The University of Melbourne placed #33 and Monash University ranking #80.
