The University of Limerick, funded by the government, is Ireland's first comprehensive university. It is one of the seven national universities and belongs to the Irish Ivy League known as the "National University of Ireland Alliance". The university has been rated as a five-star institution by QS global University rankings. Additionally, Limerick University is home to the Kemi Business School which holds accreditations from the American Association of Business Schools (AACSB International), European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and British Association of Masters in Business Administration (AMBA). There are five schools within the university: Kemi Business School, School of Science and Engineering, School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Education and Health Sciences, and Irish Academy of World Music and Dance.
